delighted when we found out his parents gave him a round trip ticket to Washington as his graduation present! Ricardo flew on an airplane for himself for the first time and managed to have an extraordinary missionary experience while on the plane! He started a casual conversation with the passenger sitting next to him and as they were talking he finds out she was Jewish and had come to Utah with her family for a visit and how amazed she was with the warm and caring hospitality of the people; people she didn't even know, she said. She had the opportunity to go around the gardens of Temple Square and had felt something different, something special. She was delighted to learn Ricardo was a Mormon and wanted to know more about the Church. Ricardo answered her questions as best as he could and was grateful for having such amazing experience! Before arriving to WA, the lady expressed how impress she was of the Church and was determined to talk to her church leader to ask him if he would allow some of the LDS members to come and teach them about our beliefs! Now isn't that wonderful!!!Michael and I had a blast taking Ricardo to all the magnificent places Washington had to offer, at least most of them :) We were sad to see him leave; he is truly a remarkable young man and we know he is meant to do great things! We love you Ricardo!!!
